Gotta love Newport Beach. Celebrated my 12th wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint. Reservations were easy to make online and we were seated right away upon arrival. Our table was right in the board walk with beautiful marina views. The breakfast items were ordered were okay but the lunch items were spectacular. The smoked salmon carpaccio and branzino was outstanding. We also ordered their caprese sandwiche to go and it was so fresh and delicious. My aperol spritz wasn't the best but their fresher squeezed oj was great. Would love to come back to try their dinner menu.

I recently had my parents visit me and they said they wanted to check out Lido Village, so I decided to take them to Zinque. We started off with some chilled chardonnay which was honestly so refreshing. I forget the name of the wine, but for the price of $8 on happy hour, it was tasty. My parents weren't very hungry, so I ordered the Rigotoncini Bolognese and Potato Grautin Dauphinois. The Rigotoncini Bolognese and Potato Grautin Dauphinois are the usual items I order everytime I venture to Zinque. The bolognese is always served pipping hot with a generous amount of meat sauce. it fills you up, but you literally can't come here without ordering the potatoes. They are layered and have the best flavor. I truly need the recipe because i've never had potatoes like these. The restaurant sits on the Newport Beach Harbor and has a special charm to it. It has a feeling like your somewhere in Europe on the water as people walk by. It makes a good people watching location. I would give my experience a 7.5/10.

Such a cute spot with great views by the water. It was pretty packed so recommend making a reservation. Service was a bit slow. The food was really tasty! I ordered the breakfast bowl and it was delicious and healthy. We also ordered mimosas and were able to walk along the boardwalk area which had so many other cute shops nearby. Parking can be a bit challenging but there's a nearby structure where you can get your parking validated and some street parking as well.

Amazing food and ambience at Zinqué. We sat in an awesome window seat with a view of Newport Bay, drank wine, and had a lovely meal. It was a little loud inside due to the music. We had the whole Branzino with a side of cauliflower. The cauliflower is a MUST TRY if you're going to Zinqué. We're normally huge Brussels Sprouts fans, but in comparison, the cauliflower took the W with the romesco sauce! We were not huge fans of the cookie dessert due to the size and mediocre nature of it (in fact, we were a little disappointed and wished we had gotten something else; they were out of their famous flourless cake that evening). Wine selection was pretty good, although only one Cab to choose from under $100/bottle. We got the Oberon for $76. Espresso was probably the best damn version I've ever tasted (and we're talking countless cups after dinner). Service was pretty good, although they unfortunately got a little slammed and our meal was a bit drawn out (not that we minded sipping wine and hanging out). Our server was friendly and funny, referring to the tap water as, "Newport's finest." LOL! We'll be coming back here again with my parents when they're in town! It also seems like they have a decent Happy Hour, although we didn't get to try it.

We had an appointment at a showroom nearby and decided to walk the area to grab lunch. Zinque was a point of interest and was delighted that there was an open table available on the deck for waterfront views. Sadly, the sun was starting to peek through the clouds and we were burning under the heat. We asked if we could change our seats to the patio, which was much more comfortable under the shade. I ordered the flat white and quinoa breakfast burrito while the husband chose to do the steak frites. His steak was cooked to a medium rare center with a nice sear and served with a peppercorn sauce. The flat white is filled to the brim in a glass cup, which was sooo hot to hold, but was amazing once my fingers no longer burned from the touch. The quinoa burrito was awesome - something I often think fondly of every time I see the picture. Added bacon to the wrap with eggs, quinoa, avocado, cherry tomato, cucumber, spinach, cilantro and gruyère. Overall, really nice place for lunch and we definitely preferred the breezy shade to the searing sun. Plus, the deck seating is in a high traffic area with constant people walking by and staring at your table. There is a rope to separate the dining space from the pedestrians, but it's too busy/noisy for my liking. However, I loved what I got and still think about returning for the burrito.

This restaurant is located on a prime spot on the Lido Marina. We did not have reservations but fortunately the very friendly hostess had us seated in about 20 minutes on a busy Sunday in June. We asked for a table outside facing the marina. It was so fun to people watch. The food was tasty and prepared quickly. We ordered wine, steak & fries and Le bowl with steak. Our server, Gustavo Galeano, was very helpful and attentive. He did not rush us out. We had a lovely and relaxing afternoon.
